A number of months ago, Cerentha Harris, writer, editor, and blogger for Herman Miller's excellent Lifework blog and for her personal (lovely and inspirational) design blog,
this is a design blog and I connected. Cerentha posted images of my studio/office at that moment in time.
(That link is here.)After that initial post, she came up with the interesting concept of "Talking Walls". In her words, "The idea is to create a kind of visual diary of
space...over the next year."
I change my main wall--which has actually been transformed into a very large tack board--throughout the year. I fill it with images, objects, old photographs, new photographic ideas, bits of nature and nostalgia--anything that inspires me. It's a great way of putting everything I love to look at and am thinking about right in front of me.
And so, the wall and my space have changed again. Whiter and lower and very full.
I am so thrilled to have the second installment of "Talking Walls" on today's Herman Miller's Lifework blog.
Thank you again, Cerentha, and xx again to my dear friend, Karn Adams, at Herman Miller for connecting us... happier.
