Canvases | How to Display Them in Your Home | Jane | Senior Session | Lara Parent Photography | West Michigan Photographer

My dear amiga, Karn, sent me these photos of how her family has displayed the lovely Jane in their home.

(She also sent an AMAZING jar of Blackberry Lavender jam with a terrific story and accompanying collateral--love this girl and the creativity that has been with her since I met her in high school. In addition to her passion for mid-century modern design**, she is also a phenomenal artist and painter; I hope she will have a website up soon!--but, I digress and that is another post :))

I love the color canvas (20' x 30") of Jane amongst Karn's husband's collection of beachy things: the stones, beach glass, and driftwood play well off of the canvas. I also adore how the collection is grouped together drawing the eye to the theme/love of the water/beach.

The location of the second canvas (16" x 24"): Peter (Jane's brother) filming Jane with my old Super 8 camera :) plays well against the kitchen wall and is able to be seen from a couple of different rooms. I love the black and white image on the white walls amongst the warmth of the kitchen.

(**Can you spot the fab Eames walnut stool, the Eames Lounge Chair with matching ottoman and another Eames chair in the second photo? :)

Thanks for sending these, KEHA!
xx :)L

I love the canvases Lara and Karn. My favorite is the one with both Peter and Jane. I've got to get in on this blackberry lavender jam as well!

Thanks, Jennifer! I love both canvases, but the one with Peter and Jane is a favorite too: love the cinematic feel.
Yes, you need to get in on the BLJ too! I am very low, and rationing the last little bit! So super tasty! Hope to wine with you this winter! Seriously!!!:)L
