Kate and Pete: Rehearsal Dinner

What a pleasure it was to be a part of Kate and Pete's lovely rehearsal dinner and incredible wedding! (Wedding images will be coming shortly.) What an amazing couple with such special families. Families from both coasts flew in to be a part of this great celebration. It is always such a joy to see families joined together by love. Thank you all for being so welcoming, helpful and fun! All of you inspired me and kept me on my toes with the touching and beautiful moments, and of course, with a few creative antics....

The love and bliss of the occasion radiates in the images. I was honored to be there to capture all of these wonderful moments.
Thank you Lois Mulder, Chris Ferris (wait till you see the food photos!), and Diana Parsons for always being so quick to sing my praises and share my work with Deb and so many others; thank you Deb and Bob for choosing me as your photographer, and a big thanks Kate + Pete for letting me be a part of your celebration!
Enjoy the short film. All images from the rehearsal dinner are up on the client galleries.

P.S. While I cannot be certain, I think that Pete is doing an impression of me (nickname:
 "Snappi") in this photo below.

Denise and Mark

Last month I had the honor of photographing these fun, creative, and beautiful people, Denise and Mark. (Thanks, Terry, for hooking us up!) They complement each other so well. Here are a few shots from the engagement session. Enjoy!

I can't wait for the wedding this Saturday!

Post no. 1

For such a long time, I have wanted to start a photo journal/blog..but where to begin...I simply love taking pictures. Simple moments, ideas, stillness, motion, the beauty and splendor and the possibility of life itself.

These photos are from a recent trip to one of our favorite cities: Toronto: great energy, kind and mellow people, and so much to see.

While I was exploring the hallway and glass elevator of our hotel, R was catching up with the news.

Here's to the wonderfulness of supportive relationships and the international beauty of the world. (More on this journey later.)
